Edith Beltram Gall, age 94 of Oak Ridge, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009. She was the daughter of John and Carola Beltram both deceased. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rolf Gall, who died November 23, 2003, and brother, Victor R. Beltram, died August 20, 2004. Edith was educated in Pennsylvania and New York. She came to Oak Ridge with her first husband, C. Boyd Jones, and infant son, Boyd J. Jones, in May 1944.

She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother, and will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends. She had many hobbies. She loved to paint, knit, craft work and decorating. Edith loved to arrange roses from her rose garden to give to her friends. She and her late husband showed roses at rose shows and won many awards, and were members of Holston Rose Society.

Edith worked at the Anderson County Health Department, and later at the City of Oak Ridge Health Department.

She and her last husband traveled State Side, Europe and Asia, wintered in Florida, both enjoyed playing golf, and round and square dancing.

Edith was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

She is survived by her son, Boyd J. Jones, and grandson, Brad Jones, both living in Atlanta, Georgia, niece Kathy Holesko, Mindy Reinoehl, and grandnieces Lou Ann and Emma Lee Reinoehl, nephew Matt Washington of Newton Falls, Ohio, step daughter Mary Eleanor Norris of Oak Ridge and step son Bobby Gall of Clinton.

Family will receive friends, Wednesday, April 8th, at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at First Presbyterian, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, at the corner of Lafayette and Oak Ridge Turnpike, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9th.

Interment will be at the Oak Ridge Memorial Garden following the service.
