Paul Edward Kesterson, age 82 of Oak Ridge passed away
Thursday December 11, 2008 at Briarcliff Health Care. Mr. Kesterson was born
August 1, 1926 in Pruden, TN to Henry Clay and Annie Barnes Kesterson. He
was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of WWII serving in the Philippines.
Mr. Kesterson retired from Union Carbide in 1982 where he was a machinist at
the Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge. He was a Mason in the Alpha Lodge #376 in
Clinton, a York Rite, Scottish Rite, and Shrine. He was a permanent member
of the 100 million dollar club. He supported the Eastern Star 390 and
numerous charitable organizations. He was a loving friend with all who knew
him. Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Henry Leroy Kesterson,
and George Howell Kesterson, two sisters Nora Juanita Collins and Mary
Louise Kennedy, two sisters-in-law Bonnie Kesterson, and Thelma Kesterson,
and one brother-in-law Earl Powell. |
