Bobby R. May, 64 of Clinton, TN left his earthly home for his heavenly home on Monday June 29. 2009 at the Golden Living/ Windwood Nursing Home of Clinton.
He was a member of Moran Baptist Church and a retiree from Clinton Utilities as a Water Plant Operator. He was a Vietnam War veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva S. May, his parents, Joseph and Stella May, brothers, Jerry May, George May and sister, Barbara Burnett.
He is survived by his son, Michael May, his wife, Donni and their son Shawn of Oliver Springs, TN, Brother Larry May and wife Pam and their children of Sunbright, TN, Sisters, Carolyn Seivers and her daughter Barbara of Murfreesboro, TN, and Joan Reed and her children of Clinton, TN.
He was especially blessed by his sister-in-law and her children. A Memorial Celebration of life will be conducted by his pastor, Kenneth Seeber on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Moran Baptist Church of Clinton. Receiving of friends 6pm-8pm. Service at 8pm. At this request his body will be cremated and the interment will by at the Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville, TN at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
