Robert “Bob” Douglas Miller of the Dyllis Community in
Tennessee, originally of Trotwood, OH, born June 6, 1931 in Dayton, OH
passed away May 30, 2008. Bob is survived by his wife of 21 years Deb
Ungericht Miller, daughters Susie Miller of Greenville, OH and Kathy
Miller-Kinsey (John) of Brookville, OH; grandsons Jim Hackney (Carrie),
Walter Steele (Barbie), Robert Hackney (Ashley), Jesse Hackney (Kristy) and
Troy Hackney (Danielle), 6 great-grandchildren, sister Norma Hudnall,
special niece Megan Sampsell and a host of other family members, special
friends and beloved dogs Tasha and Pebbles. Bob was the former owner of Main
Floor Covering in Dayton, OH, past president of the Fort McKinley Optimists,
past commodore of the Dayton Canoe Club, past commodore of the Oak Ridge
Boat Club, member of the Oak Ridge Moose Lodge, Oak Ridge Eagles, Roane
County Elks, VFW (Brookville, OH and Harriman, TN) and an active volunteer
in Project Linus of East Tennessee, animal welfare organizations and other
worthwhile causes. Bob was a Korean War Army Veteran and served on the Oak
Ridge Fraternal Organizations Veterans Day Committee. |
