Born:

James “Jimmy” Henry Young, age 67, departed this life March 1, 2009 in Greeneville, Tennessee.
He was born in Corbin, Kentucky April 20, 1941 to the late James Woodrow “Woody” and Jessie Taylor Young. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents William Jasper and Nancy Eunice Masters Young, maternal grandparents James Henry and Mattie Smith Taylor all of Corbin, Kentucky. Jimmy had been a resident of Greene Valley Developmental Center in Greeneville, Tennessee for the last 47 years. Jimmy loved fishing, camping, hiking, and taking pictures.
He is survived by his brother Bob Young, Sr. and wife Anna of Karns, cousins: Peggy Adkins McNabb and husband Red, Tom Adkins and wife Barbara of Oak Ridge, Bill Adkins and wife Kay of Delta, Ohio, Bill Meadows and wife Betty Jean of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, and Mickey Setser Peace and husband Jerry of Knoxville, Tennessee.
We are deeply grateful to all at Greene Valley who loved and cared for Jimmy all those years. We are sincerely thankful to Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home for arrangements. There was a private graveside service Tuesday March 3rd 2009 for Jimmy at Anderson Memorial Gardens
