Shirley Ann Burks, age 68, of Oak Ridge, passed away Sunday May 4, 2008. Preceded in death by parents J.B. and Lee Capehart. Retired from Y-12 Federal Credit Union after 30 years service and was also employed at Proffitt’s / Belk’s in Oak Ridge for 21 years until her death. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Lee Harris Sumter and son- in- law mark Sumter, her aunt Virginia Igou and cousin Martha Coffey as well as her beloved pets Tiny and Sweetie. The funeral will be Wednesday May 7, 2008 at 8 PM in the Chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. The graveside service will be Thursday May 8, 2008 at 12:00 noon at Oak Ridge Memorial Park on Thursday May 8, 2008
