Earl Roger Crawford (aka: Mr. Hossenfeffer), age 86, of Oak Ridge passed away Saturday April 28, 2007 at his home.
Mr. Crawford was born July 13, 1920 in Raliegh, West Virginia to the late Thomas and Sylvia Simmons Crawford. Mr. Crawford moved to Oak Ridge in 1950 and was the owner of Laboratory Balance & Microscope Service. He was a member of St. Stevens Episcopal in Oak Ridge, a successful entrepreneur, and most of all a loving husband to his wife Harriett Ruth Crawford who passed away in February of this year, father, and grandfather.
Mr. Crawford is survived by his daughter Shelia Jane Crawford, brothers J.T. Crawford and Robert Crawford, sisters Clela Jane Cox and Carol Sue Polk, and three grandchildren Brandon Goodman, Byron Goodman, and Weavre Cooper.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 1, 2007 1:00pm at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Oak Ridge with Father Craig Kallio officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:30pm Tuesday May 1, 2007 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the funeral service at St. Stephens Episcopal Church.
