Born:

James Fletcher, age 77, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday May 25, 2007 at Fort Sanders Select Specialty Hospital.
Mr. Fletcher was born May 15, 1929 in Nicholasville, VA to the late Birchel V. and Edna Moore Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher was retired from Union Carbide at the K-25 plant. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed gardening especially growing hot peppers. He was a member of the Oak Ridge Elks, Eagles, and Moose Lodges.
He is survived by his sons; Joseph Fletcher and wife Soraya of Argyle, TX and David Fletcher and wife Teresa of Riceville, TN. He was also survived by a sister Sandra Luster and husband Tom of Kingsport, seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday May 30, 2007 from 6-7 at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. There will be no service. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Oak Ridge Elks Lodge or the Oak Ridge Eagles Lodge.
