  Deborah Newman Ford, 55, of Oak Ridge, died August 1, 2007 at Methodist Medical Center. Ms. Ford was a native of Soddy Daisy, TN and the daughter of the late Claude and Hazel Newman of Soddy Daisy. She lived in Oak Ridge for the past 25 years. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Church of God. She enjoyed playing with her dog Lexy and site seeing all around the city.
Ms Ford is survived by a son, Zachary Ford of Oak Ridge, and his wife Elizabeth. Her daughter, Carla Ford, also lives in Oak Ridge. Ms Ford is survived by two sisters; Mrs. Betty Bandy of Harriman and her husband James, and Mary Jo Ellis of Lenoir City and her husband Leroy. She is survived by a brother, Roy L. Newman and his wife Jean of Soddy Daisy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held August 3, 2007 at 8:00 PM in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Ottis Ball officiating. Interment will be 11:00AM Saturday August 4, 2007 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends form 6-8 Friday at the funeral home.
