Paul Denson Gann, Sr., age 68 of Clinton, TN passed away Tuesday January 15, 2008 at Methodist Medical Center. Mr. Gann was born October 28, 1939 in Sand Mountain Alabama to the late Thompson Henry and Lavada Carr Gann. Mr. Gann was a member of the Laurel Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing poker and fishing with his friends. He was a veteran of USMC serving overseas during his time with the Marines. He worked for the Anderson County Ambulance Service as an EMT. He was preceded in death by two sisters Virginia Jones and Florence Brown. He is survived by son Paul Denson Gann, Jr. and wife Patricia of Clinton, two step-sons Cameron Spears and Roger Young both of Knoxville. He is also survived by one brother Danny Gann and one sister Frankie Denton and also by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Dison officiating. Interment will follow at Browns Flat Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-1 Friday at the funeral home.
