Delmas L. Glovier (Bo), age 84, of Clinton passed away
Peacefully April 11, 2007 at Golden Living Center (Windwood) in Clinton.
Bo served two years in the Navy during World War II. Preceded in death by
his parents Sam and Euna Glovier, one brother and four sisters and a
daughter Barbara Jo Glovier Hemberger, Los Alomos, N.M.
He was a lifelong member of Tennessee Outdoors Writers Association, (TOWA)
and Southeastern Outdoor Press Association, (SEOPA). Member of the Oak Ridge
Masonic Lodge. In the 1950’s and 60’s he broadcast A sports program, the
Great Outdoors at WATO radio station in Oak Ridge.
He is survived by his wife, Mary H. Glovier and son Jim R. Glovier and wife
Anne. Two grandchildren; Brett Glovier and Nicole Glovier, brother J.T.
Glovier of Mitchville, MD and sister Mary Jo Hamilton of North Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 Friday at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral
Home. Graveside services will be Saturday at 2:00 PM at Anderson Memorial
Gardens Clinton, TN.
