Born:

Devin Scott Gorman, age 22, of Oak Ridge, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, in Franklin, Tenn., resulting from injuries caused by a terrible automobile accident.
He was born in Massachusetts, where he lived his first five years. Devin was an intelligent, eccentric, unique, charismatic person who loved with all of his heart. He was an award-winning visual artist, and also had
an incredible ability to pick up any instrument and master it. He had interests in boxing and mixed martial arts.
He attended Middle Tennessee State University and was always on a continual quest for learning. After many years making pizzas at Big Ed¹s, he took his dreams of being an accomplished chef to Brothers¹ Pizza in Franklin, which opened with Devin¹s personalized, exclusive recipe. He achieved so many things in his young life. Devin was a mentor and best friend to everybody who knew him. He challenged us all to be the best we can be.
He will be sorely missed and is so cherished by his loving family, Dad,
Garry; Mom, Jeanne; and siblings, Charles, Janelle and Jacob.
A receiving of friends and family will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday,
Dec. 27, 2007, at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. The funeral will
immediately follow. There will be a private interment at a later date.
