Paul Lee Harrison, age 51, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday May 2, 2008 at the Fort Sanders Medical Center in Sevierville.
Paul was born June 8, 1956 in Huntsville, AL to the late Edwin and Deloyce Olvey Harrison. He was a member of the Glenwood Baptist Church in Oak Ridge. Paul had a love of motorcycles from a young age and enjoyed riding with his friends. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
Paul is survived by his wife Gina Gaye Harrison, daughter Amberly Nichole Harrison, a sophomore at Oak Ridge High School, son and grandson Brandon Scott and Shawn Matthew McFarland, son and daughter-in-law Paul Carrol and Christina Carpenter, granddaughter Aleigha Luvina Carpenter of Oak Ridge and Claxton, brothers; Robert Allen Harrison of Knoxville, and Edwin Blake Harrison, Jr. and his wife Lynne of Lenoir City, two nephews Christopher Harrison of North Augusta, SC, and Daniel Harrison of Columbia, SC, uncles; Joe Olvey of LaFollette, James and Harriett Hinkle of Dickson, TN, and Wiley and Eve Walker of Canyon Lake, TX, special friend Ella Gayle of Oak Ridge, and a host of friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 6, 2008 8:00pm in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Walton officiating. Graveside services will be Wednesday May 7, 2008 10:00am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home for a memorial fund in memory of Paul.
