Kevin Patrick Keefe, 52, died suddenly and tragically on Friday September 14, 2007 at his Oak Ridge home.
Kevin was born in Ben Salem, PA to Stephanie and the late Thomas Keefe. Kevin spent his childhood in Ben Salem and Andalusia, PA and graduated high school from Ben Salem High School in 1973. Kevin worked for many years at Freeport Furnace Maintenance. He was most recently employed by his stepson Philip Eades at Pro Grounds Maintenance.
Kevin is survived in Tennessee by his loving wife Frankie Keefe, his son Philip Eades and his wife Rhonda Eades and their children Kaden and Mackenzie Eades, and his daughter Krystal Hollon and her husband Anthony Hollon and their children Alexander Eades and Zachary Cook. Kevin’s in laws include Rachael, David, Karen, Jack, Mary, Sally May, and Larry Pride, Linda and Ronnie Jones, Amos, Janet, and Jeffery Eades, Kerrilou and Mathew Carpenter of North Carolina. Kevin’s family in PA includes his mother Stephanie Keefe, his brother Timmy Keefe and his wife Eileen, his sisters Connie Keefe of Yardly, PA, Colleen and Timothy Cosenza of Philadelphia, PA, Kathy and Ed Gerlack of Kutztown, PA, Susan and Richard Hays of New York. Also his best friends Al Harris and Curt Burkett. Kevin had numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends that will miss him dearly. Kevin was a huge football fan who loved life and his family. He was a caring and generous person who loved to dance. Kevin was known by his dearest friends as “bird”. Kevin also loved cooking for his friends and family and will be truly missed.
A wake will be held Saturday September 22, 2007 starting at 4:30pm at Sagebrush Steakhouse of Oak Ridge “his home away from home”. Instead of flowers the family request donations to go towards a reward fund to be sent to Y-12 Federal Credit Union.
