Marie E. McCune, 86 of Clinton, TN passed away Monday January 7, 2008 at Briarcliff Health Care.
She was born February 3, 1921 in Philadelphia Mississippi to John and Leona Eula Stripling Earnest both now deceased. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Clinton, and the Eastern Star. She was in the nursing profession as a private care giver. Mrs. McCune is survived by a nephew Karl V. Howard of Knoxville. 
The funeral will be Saturday January 12, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with Pastor William Caldwell, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:00 PM at the church.
