Zena Lee Padgett, age 79 of Oak Ridge passed away Tuesday May 29, 2007 at her residence.
Mrs. Padgett was born November 21, 1927 in Englewood, TN to the late Virgil and Viva Jane Morris Key. Mrs. Padgett was a homemaker and a member of the West Village Christian Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Hoyt Padgett of Oak Ridge, son Greg Padgett and wife Amy of Knoxville, special nieces and nephews including special and devoted niece Jane Mathes and husband Terry of Knoxville, three grandchildren Ashlee Crawford and husband Josh, Victoria and Jessie Padgett and by two great-grandchildren J.T. Crawford and Johnathan Cox.
Funeral services will be Thursday May 31, at 8:00 PM at West Village Christian Church with Rev. Brain Lakin officiating. Graveside services will be Friday at 10:00am at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton, TN. The family will receive friends from 6-8 at the church on Thursday.
