Eula Belle Morris Robinson died on April 29, 2008 at the
Chesapeake Healthcare Center in Chesapeake, Virginia. Eula Belle was born on
August 6, 1913 in Habersham County, Georgia and was the daughter of Dillard
Benjamin and Beulah Davis Morris Eula Belle was the loving wife of her
husband the late John A. Robinson, Sr..
Eula Belle and her husband “Jack” came to Oak Ridge in 1943 and Eula Belle
lived in Oak Ridge until 1987 when she moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia.
She was a long time member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Oak Ridge
until her passing. Eula Belle was a graduate of the Erlanger School of
Nursing in Chattanooga, Tennessee and served for many years as a registered
nurse at The Oak Ridge Hospital of the Methodist Church.
Eula Belle was predeceased by her brothers Byron, Gilbert, and Bolin Morris,
and her sister Pauline Morris. She is survived by her children Judith A.
Barnard, Michael S. Robinson, and John A. Robinson, Jr., as well as her
grand children Dale and Jimmy Barnard, Katherine and M. Scott Robinson, John
S. Robinson and Sharon D. Tatum. Eula Belle was also the proud Great Grand
Mother of eight great grand children: Breanna and Christian Barnard, Alex
and Joshua Barnard, Hunter and Joshua Tatum, and Hannah and Jack Robinson.
The funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 1:00PM at
the Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home chapel in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The family
will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00PM-8:00PM at the funeral home
chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s
Association.
