William Michael Robinson, age 69 of Oliver Springs passed away Saturday April 12, 2008 at Methodist Medical Center. Mr. Robinson was born November 25, 1938 in New Orleans, LA to the late William and Ruth Wimberly Robinson. He was a veteran of the US Navy and Marine Corps were he was a Sharp Shooter with the Marines. He enjoyed fishing, reading and animals, and his dog Marvin. He was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School in 1958. Mr. Robinson was a member of Solway Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his son William Michael Robinson, II.
He is survived by his wife Diane Gail Wiggers Robinson of Oliver Springs and a daughter Michelle Robinson of Oliver Springs.
Services will be Sunday April 20, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Royce Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Miller officiating. Interment will be at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday at the church from 2:00 to 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations made to the American Heart Association.
