Born:

Howard Samuel Schwartz, age 74 of Lenoir City, TN passed away Wednesday September 5, 2007 at Fort Sanders Loudon.  Mr. Schwartz was born November 14, 1932 in Bronx, N.Y. to George and Pearl Coppersmith Schwartz who precede him in death.  He is also preceded in death by a brother Louis Schwartz.  He was a veteran of the US Army and enjoyed coaching and umpiring in the summer leagues.  He also enjoyed working around the house, but his family and grand kids were his love.  Mr. Schwartz is survived by his wife Shirley Ann Liebman Schwartz of Lenoir City, three sons and daughter-in-laws; Mark Peter Schwartz and his wife Cindy of Nashville, TN, Frank Lester Schwartz and his wife Lori of Marietta, GA, Michael Steven Schwartz and his wife Kathy of Philadelphia, PA.  He is also survived by four grandchildren, Jared, Samuel, Katie, and Jordan.  The funeral will be Thursday September 6, 2007 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Rabbi Victor Rashkovsky officiating.  Interment will follow at Beth EL cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Oak Ridge Jewish Congregation.
