Glen S. King, Sr., a funeral director, came to work at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home in 1988. Glen is a graduate of Sevier County High School in Sevierville, Tennessee and attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. The son of the late Rev. Robert D. King, Sr. and Shirley R. Freels King, Glen spent a great deal of time around funeral homes growing up when his father was ministering. He has managed Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home since 1994 and became the owner in September of 2001. He is a member of the B.P.O.E. #1684 and the Moose Lodge #1316 here in Oak Ridge. Glen is married to Sandy B. Hornsby King who is employed with the City of Oak Ridge and they have two children, Stephen and Alexis King.
 
  Joseph E. King, funeral director and embalmer came to work at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home in August 1986. Joe is a graduate of Sevier County High School in Sevierville, Tennessee and of Mid America College of Mortuary Science in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Licensed by the State of Tennessee, Joe is also certified by the Funeral Service Examining Board of the United States and a member of Pi Sigma Eta, a professional and social funeral service fraternity. Joe was selected as Honored Member of Oxford's Who's Who of Extraordinary Professionals for 1992-1993. He is also a member of Faith Masonic Lodge #756 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Joe has managed several funeral homes in the area and rejoined the staff of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home in March 2004. Joe is married to Barbara M. Malinauskas King, who is employed with BWXT at the Y-12 Plant here in Oak Ridge and they have four children, Aubrey D. Atkinson, Domenic, Maggie and Cassie King.
 
  Shirley R. Freels King, along with her husband, the late Rev. Robert D. King, have maintained an active roll in the funeral industry while serving as pastors of churches in Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina and Louisiana. Shirley has been working full time since 1989 and received her Funeral Directors license in Tennessee in 1993 and in Kentucky in 1995. She is licensed with the insurance division in both states as well. As mother of Rev. Robert D. King, Jr. of Corbin, Kentucky, Joseph E. King and Glen S. King, Sr., both of Oak Ridge, she is proud of the fact that all three are funeral directors. In addition to her duties as funeral director, she is also the office administrator and pre-need funeral consultant. Shirley's faith, integrity and compassion are instrumental in her ability to serve the families of Oak Ridge.
 
  Stephen King, apprentice funeral director, is a 2007 graduate of Oak Ridge High School and joined the Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home staff full time after his graduation. Stephen brings with him a desire to help serve the families of Oak Ridge with dignity and compassion.
 
  C.E. Houston, employed part-time since 1989, is an attendant. He and his wife Aileen are both active members of the Woodland Park Baptist Church and C.E. is a member of Faith Masonic Lodge #756 here in Oak Ridge.
 
  Dale Bandy, employed part-time since 2003, is an attendant. Dale and his wife Tracy have one daughter, Erika, and attend Park West Church of God. Dale is a member of the Moose Lodge #1316 here in Oak Ridge.
